Description
Would you like to master microcement and turn it into a profitable trade? This hands-on workshop is taught on our own Diamond Coat Microcement system by applicators who do this work every day.
At The Ranch in Loma, Colorado, you will prime, trowel, burnish, and seal alongside experienced instructors, and build your own sample boards to take home as a finished reference for your technique and a selling tool for your clients. We want you to make your mistakes here, with our team beside you, so we can explain the why and show you how to correct them.
Choose two days of foundational technique to learn the core system, or the complete four-day program that adds two days of advanced finishes. You will leave able to confidently quote and complete real microcement jobs.
Why Our SystemThe System You Will Learn
Every technique is taught on Diamond Coat Microcement, a genuinely premium system made with real marble and lime, not an acrylic or polymer imitation. It is built as an easy-to-use, pre-matched kit (primer, base, finish, and sealer) with generous working time, so the steps are simple and repeatable even early in your career. One kit covers roughly 150 to 200 square feet and bonds over tile, concrete, drywall, wood, and laminate.

Before You Sign UpCommon Questions
Should I do two days or all four?
If you have never troweled microcement, the two-day foundational track gets you working with the core skills. If you want to take on showers, decorative finishes, stairs, and premium clients, the complete four-day program is the better value. Not sure? Call us at 970-639-9338.
Do I need prior experience?
Not at all. The foundational track assumes zero microcement experience and builds from substrate prep up. Plenty of graduates come in brand new and leave able to quote and complete real jobs.
What will I physically be doing in class?
You will work hands-on at your own station, building sample boards and practicing each step, with group work on larger applications. You make your mistakes here, with our team beside you.
What time does class start?
Class runs from 9 am to 3 pm, give or take an hour at the end of the day depending on what is going on in class.
What should I bring?
A pen for notes, clothes you do not mind getting material on, comfortable shoes, and any project measurements. During your visit you will get an exclusive discount on your order, and our tech team will help calculate what you need.
What about lunch?
Our treat. We break for lunch every class day and pick up the tab at one of our favorite local restaurants.
Where should we stay?
We recommend staying near Main Street in Grand Junction, within walking distance of shops, galleries, restaurants, and breweries. We will send hotel recommendations and directions after you sign up.
Any other benefits?
After completing a class you receive a permanent product discount and can re-attend another class for just $99. We also offer bulk and wholesale pricing for those interested in our dealership program. Call ahead if you would like more information before class.
I signed up. Now what?
The week before class we will reach out to confirm your attendance and collect email addresses for all students, send a short form to complete beforehand, and set up your account so you are ready on day one.
Please note: due to timing, weather, and other factors, not all projects will be fully finished during the class.
